Pamoja has set up its first biomass gasification power plant, a 32 kW power plant, in Central region of Uganda at Tiribogo Village in Muduuma Sub-county, Mpigi District. The power plant was set up in October 2012 and has been running consistently for the last 3 months since March 2013. A micro-grid has been set up to provide power to the households; more than 40 households (out of a total of 105 households) have been connected to the micro-grid.
